Clearstrength® E-950

Clearstrength® E-950 by Arkema is a methylmethacrylate-butadiene-styrene (MBS) grade. Acts as an impact modifier (core-shell). Imparts excellent ambient and cold temperature toughness to engineering polymers. Exhibits improved thermal stability, good dispersion and mechanical properties retention. It maintains good ductile impact properties at temperatures below -40°C. It is produced using a proprietary technology which affords some improved impact performance under severe processing conditions. Used in formulating polycarbonate, polyesters and a variety of polycarbonate blends, particularly PC/ PBT. Recommended for automotive applications such as bumpers, front radiator grills & battery housing for electrical vehicles. Clearstrength® E-950 is also designed for electrical and electronic applications (including TV, monitor), mobile phone housing and home appliances.
