CHARGUARD™ 2010 by Elementis is an organically modified special lamellar silicate used as a flame-retardant synergist. It improves the mechanical properties of thermoplastic materials.
- It does not contain intentionally added per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
- Enhances gas barrier and reduces heat release rate to achieve the synergistic effect of flame retardant.
- Its unique functional groups strengthen the inorganic structure, increases char formation efficiency, enhances the density & strength of carbon layer and inhibit dripping.
