Atmer™ 190 by Cargill is an internal and external anti-static agent. It is recommended for transparent & non-transparent PLA & PLA blends, and for non-transparent applications in HIPS, ABS, and rigid PVC. When dispersed into the polymer, it migrates to the surface where it interacts with atmospheric moisture, reducing surface resistivity and allowing dissipation of static charge over a long period of time.
- Atmer™ 190 is used in automotive, biopolymers, film production and injection molding applications.
- It offers excellent thermal stability.
- The recommended dosage level is 3% for PLA, <3% for PLA blends and 1-3% for styrenics & rigid PVC.
- It has a shelf life of 730 days.
