EMAC® SP2255 by Westlake is a soft, flexible, plasticizers free ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer grade with 17% methyl acrylate (MA). Contains high slip and antiblock additives. Exhibits good heat & RF sealing, good toughness, good corrosion resistance, good adhesion, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), high coefficient of friction and high solids fillability. Offers excellent drawdown, low neck-in, broad chemical resistance and processing range. EMAC® SP2255 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC and other polar polymers. Is suitable for processing by blown film and cast film extrusion. Recommended for films, flexible packaging, disposable gloves, tubing, wound care, thin films and medical packaging applications. EMAC+® SP1305 by Westlake is a soft, flexible ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer grade with 20% methyl acrylate (MA). Exhibits good toughness, excellent adhesion, high solids fillability, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR) and high coefficient of friction or “surface tack” for nonskid or high-grip surfaces. Offers high melting point, better clarity, improved processing, good low-temperature impact strength. EMAC+® SP1305 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC & other polar polymers and an additional compatibility in polymer alloys. EMAC® SP2413 is highly fillable having good adhesion and low melting temperature.
