Supplied byWestlake- Last Updated on Oct 25, 2024

EMAC+® SP1330 by Westlake is a soft, flexible ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer grade with 22% methyl acrylate (MA). Exhibits good toughness, excellent adhesion, high solids fillability, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR) and high coefficient of friction or “surface tack” for nonskid or high-grip surfaces. Offers high melting point, better clarity, improved processing, good low-temperature impact strength. EMAC+® SP1330 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC & other polar polymers and an additional compatibility in polymer alloys. Is suitable for processing by co-extrusion and blending. Recommended for films, disposable gloves, wound care and tie-layer applications. It is patented under US patent 5804675.
