Extir® CM PD Galileo IO M 5 AE by Versalis Eni Group is an expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade produced using Continuous Mass technology. Is a hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD)-free flame retardant grade. Contains an atherman additive that reduces heat transfer. Exhibits very low dimensional dispersion, reduced content of blowing agent, improved sunlight stability and good mechanical strength. Possesses a formula making it more resistant to sunlight exposure than other products. Designed for injection molding process. Items made from Extir® CM PD Galileo IO M 5 AE are grey in color and shows good fusion, low shrinkage and very good surface finish. Provides excellent thermal insulation properties. Used to produce blocks and items having a thickness higher than a few centimeters for thermal insulation in buildings. Recommended for pitched roof insulation, floor insulating elements and wall insulation from outside (ETICS). Extir® CM PD Galileo Europa 5 Gold AE by Versalis Eni Group is an expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade produced using Continuous Mass technology. Is a hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD)-free flame retardant grade. Contains an atherman additive that reduces heat transfer. Exhibits very low dimensional dispersion and reduced content of blowing agent. Designed for injection molding process. Items made from Extir® CM PD Galileo Europa 5 Gold AE are grey in color and shows good fusion, low shrinkage and very good surface finish. Provides excellent thermal insulation properties and possesses formula, permitting the use of thinner boards to get same thermal resistance. Recommended for cavity wall insulation, floor insulation and external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). Can be used for block molding and subsequent hot wire cutting to get boards & profiled items and press molding for items with a minimum thickness of a few cm. Extir® AM A 7000 AE by Versalis Eni Group is an expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade, containing pentane as blowing agent. Is a hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD)-free flame retardant grade. Designed for injection molding process. Extir® AM A 7000 AE is used for production of low density blocks for thermal insulation sector. Typical applications are lightening, low density elastified blocks for impact sound absorption (Trittschall) and blocks & slabs for road foundations and civil construction. Extir® VR A3000 AE by Versalis Eni Group is a flame retardant expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade. Contains pentane as blowing agent and exhibits improved thermal conductivity. Designed for injection molding process. Extir® VR A3000 AE is used for production of shaped moldings with sections greater than 8 mm and of medium-high density blocks. Recommended for building and industrial packaging. Typical applications are external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), industrial packaging such as cathode ray tube protection, medium & high density blocks for thermal insulation, window dressing, theatre backgrounds, molded panels for underfloor heating and molded & block-cut building components. Extir® LN 2000 is recommended in the packaging sector and for production of any kind of shaped moldings with thin sections. Used in a wide range of applications such as cheese & ice cream boxes, seed trays, industrial and food packaging and boxes for marbles & tiles. Extir® DM 3000 AE GEO GREEN by Versalis Eni Group is a flame retardant expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade, containing pentane as blowing agent. Exhibits low water and vapor absorption, excellent processing characteristics and high mechanical strength. Designed for injection molding process. Extir® DM 3000 AE GEO GREEN AE is recommended for building sectors. Used for production of molded boards and blocks for the insulation of building foundations and underground thermal insulation (Perimeter) with improved thermal conductivity.
