Extir® CM PD Galileo Io 5 by Versalis Eni Group is an expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade produced using Continuous Mass technology. Contains an atherman additive that reduces heat transfer. Exhibits thermal conductivity, good mechanical strength, very low dimensional dispersion and reduced content of blowing agent. Possesses a formula making it more resistant to sunlight exposure than other products. Designed for injection molding process. Items made from Extir® CM PD Galileo Io 5 are grey in color and shows good fusion, low shrinkage and very good surface finish. Provides excellent thermal insulation properties. Recommended for constructions lightening and doublage loose fill insulation. Can be used to produce blocks and items having a thickness higher than a few centimeters for thermal insulation in buildings.
