Extir® CM PD Galileo IO M 5 AE by Versalis Eni Group is an expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade produced using Continuous Mass technology. Is a hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD)-free flame retardant grade. Contains an atherman additive that reduces heat transfer. Exhibits very low dimensional dispersion, reduced content of blowing agent, improved sunlight stability and good mechanical strength. Possesses a formula making it more resistant to sunlight exposure than other products. Designed for injection molding process. Items made from Extir® CM PD Galileo IO M 5 AE are grey in color and shows good fusion, low shrinkage and very good surface finish. Provides excellent thermal insulation properties. Used to produce blocks and items having a thickness higher than a few centimeters for thermal insulation in buildings. Recommended for pitched roof insulation, floor insulating elements and wall insulation from outside (ETICS).
