It is highly resistant to scorch, easy to process and has low volume resistivity. Recommended to use in insulation shielding strippable compound for medium voltage power cables (from 11 to 33 Kv). ESCONTEK® SP-SCXL-7777 is suitable for processing by extrusion using conventional polyethylene/PVC extrusion lines. It meets the requirement of IEC 60502-2, BS 6622, BS 7835 and HD 620. ESCONTEK® SPL-PVCSC-47 by Shakun Polymers (Alphagary) is a semi-conductive polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-based compound. Exhibits low volume resistivity and easy processing. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. ESCONTEK® SPL-PVCSC-47 is recommended for skin coating over PVC sheath for cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated high and extra high voltage power cables. ESCONTEK® SP-PESC-11 by Shakun Polymers is a semi conducting compound having excellent heat deformation-resistant characteristics. It has superior thermal stress crack resistance, toughness. It is also easy to process and has low volume resistivity. It has been formulated to be easily extrudable using conventional polyethylene extrusion lines. Processed by extrusion. ESCONTEK® SP-PESC-11 is designed to meet the conductivity and bondability requirements of both conductor and insulation shield for medium voltage cables. It meets with ICEA S-66-524/NEMA WC7, BS 6622, IEC 60502 and IEC 60840 regulations. ESCONTEK® SP-PESC-566 is a semi-conducting compound having excellent heat deformation resistant characteristics. It has superior thermal stress crack resistance, toughness. It is also easy to process and has low volume resistivity. It has been formulated to be easily extrudable using polyethylene extrusion lines. Recommended for skin coating over PE sheath for XLPE insulated high and extra high voltage power cables.
