Omniatec PSU by Omnia Plastica is a semi-crystalline, physiologically inert polysufone (PSU) grade with high mechanical and thermal properties (up to 240°C). It is electrically insulating and possesses good tensile stress, flexural strength, elastic modulus, low friction coefficient, transparency, good dielectric properties and resists to creep under load & to wear. Exhibits high temperature-, chemical-, thermal-, mineral acids-, alkali-, salt solutions-, hydrolysis and steam resistance. Used in manufacturing of pump components, flanges which are in contact with food liquids, high performance applications such as bearings, precision gears at low as well as high temperatures, electrical applications including plates for circuits, coils and insulators. Suitable for food contact parts, even at high temperature. Complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating. Omniatec PEEK by Omnia Plastica is a semi-crystalline polyetheretherketone (PEEK) with high mechanical and thermal properties. Is self-lubricating and provides high dimensional stability, low friction coefficient, very good dielectric and insulating properties, resists to creep under load and to high temperature beyond 240°C. Exhibits high resistance to gamma radiation, high wear-, heat-, good chemical and abrasion resistance. Used in high performance pieces at low as well as at high temperatures such as gears, bushes in aircraft and aerospace industries. Omniatec PEEK complies with UL 94 V0 flame rating.
