Omniatec PSU by Omnia Plastica is a semi-crystalline, physiologically inert polysufone (PSU) grade with high mechanical and thermal properties (up to 240°C). It is electrically insulating and possesses good tensile stress, flexural strength, elastic modulus, low friction coefficient, transparency, good dielectric properties and resists to creep under load & to wear. Exhibits high temperature-, chemical-, thermal-, mineral acids-, alkali-, salt solutions-, hydrolysis and steam resistance. Used in manufacturing of pump components, flanges which are in contact with food liquids, high performance applications such as bearings, precision gears at low as well as high temperatures, electrical applications including plates for circuits, coils and insulators. Suitable for food contact parts, even at high temperature. Complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
