Quadrant Nylon 101 PA 66 is a natural/black colored, internally lubricated, heat stabilized, unmodified polyamide 66 (nylon 66). Exhibits good mechanical & electrical properties and ideal balance of strength as well as toughness. It is very strong, rigid and has very high melting point. Is suitable for processing by extrusion (bushing stock). Used in screw machined electrical insulators and food contact parts. Is a FDA, USDA, NSF and 3A-Dairy compliant. Quadrant® PC 1000 by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is an unfilled, non-optical, non UV-stabilized, physiologically inert (food contact compliant composition]), transparent, amorphous polycarbonate [PC]. Offers stiffness retention over a wide range of temperatures, very high impact strength (even at low temperatures), good electrical/dielectric characteristics and high modulus of elasticity. Exhibits very good dimensional stability, high mechanical strength, good creep resistance, economical thermal performance, toughness, impact resistance & elongation properties. It absorbs very little moisture and resists acidic solutions. It is suitable for processing by extrusion. Quadrant® PC 1000 is used in electrical/electronic applications, laser housing, safety glazing, sight glasses & windows, parts in contact with foodstuffs, components for medical and pharmaceutical devices.
