Heromelt™ ETFE by Daikin Compounding Italy is a conductive, partially fluorinated ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) grade filled with silicon carbide, glass fibres, carbon fibres and pigments. It is an anti-static and self-extinguishing grade and shows resistance to high temperatures, chemicals and atmospheric agents. It has non-stick properties and low coefficient of friction. Can be processed by melt extrusion, injection and transfer molding. Heromelt™ ETFE is used in coatings for electrical cables, pipes, gaskets, films & sheets. Also used for valves, precision and electronic components. Heromelt™ FEP by Daikin Compounding Italy is a fully-fluorinated perfluorinated ethylene propylene grade reinforced with carbon- and glass fibers. It shows good resistance to high temperatures, chemicals and atmospheric agents. Exhibits non-stick properties and low coefficient of friction. It can be processed by melt extrusion and injection moulding. Heromelt™ FEP is used in coating and insulation of electrical cables and pipes. Heromelt™ PK-20 TF by Daikin Compounding Italy is polyether-ether-ketone and polytetrafluoroethylene (PEEK+PTFE) copolymer alloy. It is extremely tough and resilient grade. Exhibits good resistance to a wide range of chemical, radiations and high temperature resistance with peaks up to 315°C (599°F) for a short period. Possesses excellent dielectric properties, extremely low emissions and excellent dimensional stability. Used in technical components for high temperature and improved tribological properties. Heromelt™ PK-20 TF can be processed by extrusion, compression-, injection- and transfer molding. Heromelt™ PK-20 GL by Daikin Compounding Italy is a high-performance polyether-ether-ketone (PEEK) reinforced with 20% glass fiber. It is extremely tough and resilient grade. Exhibits good resistance to a wide range of chemical agents, radiations and high temperature with peaks up to 315°C (599°F) for a short period. Possesses excellent dielectric properties, extremely low emissions and excellent dimensional stability. Used in a wide range of industrial fields, standard thermoplastic tools and machinery. Other applications include high temperature technical components and hydraulic sealing elements. Heromelt™ PK-20 GL can be processed by extrusion, compression-, injection- and transfer molding. Heromelt™ PK Natural by Daikin Compounding Italy is a high-performance polyether-ether-ketone (PEEK) grade. It is extremely tough and resilient grade. It can be processed by melt extrusion, injection-, compression- and transfer molding. Heromelt™ PFA is used in technical components, piping for chemical fluids, pump and valve coatings. Also used for high-flex films, plates, wire- and impact resistant coatings.
