It allows substitution of fossil resources with renewable feedstocks from organic waste, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. It is identical to its standard counterpart in properties, performance, machine processability and certification (for e.g. food and water contact). It shows higher comparative tracking index (CTI) compared to other high-temperature polymers like PEI and PPS. Ultrason® P 2010

Ultrason® P 2010 by BASF is a high flow, low viscosity polyphenylsulphone (PPSU). It contains no harmful substances and is approved for food contact. Designed for injection molding including stretch blow molding and extrusion blow molding. Used to manufacture bottles for adults and babies that are safe to use, robust as well as available in numerous designs, shapes and colors. Exhibits outstanding strength, chemical resistance and long-term high-temperature stability up to 180°C. Bottles produced from Ultrason® P 2010 can easily withstand sterilization in a microwave or in very hot water, regardless of the method used to manufacture them.

Ultrason® E 6020 P
