It is insoluble in water and organic solvent. ASACLEAN™ NB is designed for color and material transitions in both injection molding and extrusion applications and receive the cleaning benefits of foaming action, with no soak time. ASACLEAN™ PF by Asahi Kasei Asaclean Americas is specifically formulated for super-engineering resins. Insoluble in water while soluble in aromatic and ester solvents. Offers excellent thermal stability at high processing temperature. Suitable for hot runner cleaning. PF can be used as a sealing material during machine shutdowns within the temperature ranges of 280-370°C due to its superior thermal stability. Exclusively used for purging super engineering resins such as PPS (p-phenylene sulfide) and PEI (polyethyleneimine). ASACLEAN™ PF complies with TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act). ASACLEAN™ PX2 by Asahi Kasei Asaclean Americas is a purging compound filled with glass. Insoluble in water while soluble in aromatic and ester solvents. Offers high temperature for cleaning hard-to-clean resins, low processing smoke and odor, excellent thermal stability at high processing temperatures, color changes, material changes and carbon/color contamination. It can be processed using injection molding. Exclusively used for purging super engineering resins such as PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), PEEK (polyether ether ketone), LCP (liquid-crystal polymers) and PEI (polyethylenimine). ASACLEAN™ PX2 complies with TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act). ASACLEAN™ NCR by Asahi Kasei Asaclean Americas is a general purpose purging compound based on polyethylene (PE). It is a versatile, high-performance chemical purging compound especially suited for color and material changes. It is effective when used for shutdown and sealing to prevent buildup. It is insoluble in water. It is especially suited for color and material changes for thermoplastic injection molding and extrusion machines. ASACLEAN™ NCR is ideal for applications involving low flow or low pressure environments where foaming action is critical. ASACLEAN™ UF2 by Asahi Kasei Asaclean Americas is a versatile, water insoluble, high-performance purging compound. Offers effective removal of gels & contamination that is not carbonized and can be purged through a die without removing it. Exhibits excellent compatibility with polyethylene (PE) resins. It enables faster changeovers for reduced equipment downtime. Suitable for both blown & cast film extrusion and injection molding applications. ASACLEAN™ UF2 is recommended for color & material changes, hot runner cleaning, shutdown and sealing applications.
