TRISTAR® PC-10GF-HC by Amco Polymers is a polycarbonate resin reinforced with 10% glass fiber. It is a flame retardant, non-chlorinated and non-brominated grade. Offers high stiffness and close tolerances. Recommended for electrical devices such as electrical hand tools, appliances, business machines and electrical or telecommunications enclosures mounted outside or inside of buildings. TRISTAR® PC-10GF-HC complies with UL 94 5VA & V-0 flame rating, UL 746H, UL 746R EC 1907/2006 REACH and RoHS. TRISTAR® PC-10FR-(18) by Amco Polymers is an amorphous, naturally transparent (to light), flame retardant polycarbonate resin. Exhibits good mold release, thermal resistance, high heat resistance, fair chemical resistance but relatively high viscosity and low melt flow. Possesses good tensile strength, toughness, color stability, flexural strength, flexural modulus and heat deflection temperature. Shows good impact strength, tensile elongation and good electrical insulating properties. Offers excellent dimensional stability and good processability with low mold shrinkage and low mold temperature. It can be processed by injection molding. Suitable for electric meter, housings & covers, casket hardware, portable tool housings, safety helmets, computer parts and vandal-proof windows & light globes.
