PLEXIGLAS® V826 by Trinseo is polymethyl methacrylate acrylic (PMMA) resin. It is processed by injection molding and extrusion. This grade possesses excellent heat-& chemical resistance and excellent weatherability & optical properties. PLEXIGLAS® V826 provides exceptional optical clarity, high quality surface appearance and resistance to UV light degradation. It is suitable for applications where outdoor and indoor weatherability is paramount. It is characterized by superior thermal stability, extrusion melt strength, excellent tool surface reproduction, and release properties. It is used in bathroom accessories, bird feeders, clear & diffuse lenses, cosmetics, desk items, framing industry, fresnel lenses, gifts & tablewares, instrument clusters lenses, LED lighting, light guides, promotional items and trophies, rear combination lamps, retail and commercial applications. Typical markets include automotive, transportation, buildings, construction, bathtub, shower, signs, displays, consumer goods, electrical, electronics, household equipment, medical, personal care, lightings, renewable energy, packaging and paper.
