STYREX® 710RC by Synbra Technology is a white colored, durable, lightweight, expandable polystyrene (EPS) containing pentane as expansion agent. Exhibits good energy absorption and compression resistance. Is insoluble in water and soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated solvents & ketones. Can be processed using foaming. STYREX® 710RC is recommended for production of expanded foam moldings, shape molding and block molding applications with wall thickness > 8mm. Other possible applications include safety helmets, child car seats, air conditioning units, boiler casing, bath panels, automotive components, lighting, pharmaceutical sector and horticulture. Complies with EC Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH), 1272/2008 (CLP), Regulation (EU) No 453/2010.
