Solef® 6008 by Syensqo is a low molecular weight, low-viscosity polyvinylidene fluoride homopolymer. It is a semi-crystalline and additive-free grade. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It has the intrinsic stability inherent to fluoropolymers even when exposed to harsh thermal, chemical and UV environments.
  • It shows excellent chemical resistance, excellent mechanical strength, excellent toughness, high abrasion resistance, excellent ageing resistance, high purity, resistance to UV and nuclear radiations, excellent intrinsic fire resistance and low permeability to most gases and liquids.
  • It provides low coefficient of friction and allows continuous use of service temperature up to 150°C.
  • It is used in membrane manufacturing, wire & cable industry, high purity semiconductor market, oil & gas industry, automotive and building industry.
  • Recommended for industrial equipment parts, electronics, chimney linings, lithium batteries, fuel cells, food and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Solef® 6008 is compliant with food contact, WEEE, RoHS, NSF/ANSI 51 and NSF/ANSI 61.
