Safron® H500-25RG by Safripol is a natural colored, water insoluble, odorless, controlled rheology polypropylene homopolymer grade. Offers excellent processability at melt temperatures between 220 and 280°C. Is suitable for processing by fiber extrusion. Designed for production of fibers and filaments on long and short-spinning lines such as spunbond nonwovens, staple fibers, continuous filament (CF) and bulked continuous filament (BCF). Used in carpet face yarns, geotextiles, upholstery, filtration, protective clothing, agricultural materials, health and hygiene products. Safron® H500-25RG complies with EU regulation no. 10/2011 and US FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c)3.2a for food contact applications.
