Optimax® 8517 by Novachem is a heat cured, epoxy-urethane hybrid grade. It works at 65°C for 2 hours. Exhibits resistance to chemicals and it can withstand prolonged immersion in water. Provides robust resistance to impact across a wide temperature range. It can be cured at room temperature or with heat for rapid processing. Optimax® 8517 is designed to be used as an encapsulant for small electronic devices.
