DURABIO™ D5360R

Supplied byMitsubishi Chemical- Last Updated on Feb 27, 2021

DURABIO™ D5360R by Mitsubishi Chemical is a bio-based, polycarbonate resin derived mainly from plant-based isosorbide. It exhibits high transparency, colorability, excellent durability, excellent optical properties, outstanding scratch and UV resistance. It can retain high surface hardness. It offers abrasion resistance, excellent surface impact strength and light exposure stability. It is suitable as a substitute for high-performance glass components. It can be processed by injection molding. It shows negligible yellowing, puncture resistance, excellent color tone design capability and high impact resistance. It is suitable for use in energy related components, FPD front panel, sunglass, LED lighting, optical film, lighting sheet, film-laminated steel sheet, noise barrier wall, cosmetics containers, E&E housings. DURABIO™ D5360R is recommended for automotive exterior parts (radar cover, grills, pillars) & interior parts (door trims, door switch panels, display panels, meter hood bezel, driver side garnish, glove box, cup holder) and front panel for smart phone.
