Nylatron® GSM Blue PA6 by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is a dark blue, internally lubricated, heat stabilized, polyamide 6 (nylon 6) reinforced with molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) and oil. Offers low coefficient of friction, good limiting PV and low "k" factor. Exhibits high mechanical strength, stiffness, good fatigue resistance, excellent wear resistance, good electrical insulating properties and good resistance to high energy radiation [gamma- and X-rays]. Has high hardness & toughness, high mechanical damping ability, good sliding properties and good machinability. Suitable for processing by gear rings & custom castings and for high load applications. Desired for applications like slide pads, thrust washers and trunion bearings. Potential applications include sleeve and slide bearings, wear pads, support and wheels, conveyor rollers, tension rollers, sleeves for rollers, pulleys & pulley-linings, fear wheels, cams, buffer blocks, machined pads, hammer heads, scrapers, seal-rings, feed screws, star wheels, cutting and chopping boards and insulators.
