Nylatron® GS PA66

Nylatron® GS PA66 is a grey-black colored polyamide 66 (nylon 66) reinforced with molybdenum disulphide. Offers improved rigidity and low coefficient of linear thermal expansion. Exhibits high mechanical strength, good fatigue resistance, excellent wear resistance, good electrical insulating properties and good resistance to high energy radiation [gamma- and X-rays]. Has high hardness & toughness, high mechanical damping ability, good sliding properties and good machinability. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. Suitable for high temperature applications. Applications include sleeve and slide bearings, wear pads, support and guide wheels, conveyor rollers, tension rollers, sleeves for wheels and rollers, pulleys and pulley-linings, cams, buffer blocks, hammer heads, scrapers, gear wheels, sprockets, seal-rings, feed screws, star wheels, cutting and chopping boards, insulators.
