LUVOCOM® 70-9045 by Lehmann & Voss is a high performance PK (polyketone) grade reinforced with carbon fibers. Exhibits low wear rate, low water absorption, high chemical resistance, good tribological performance, good hydrolytic stability and low permeability. Shows good weld line strength, high dimensional stability and good processability with shorter cycle times compared to other technical polymers such as PA 66 and POM. Suitable for processing by injection molding. It is electrically conductive with low warpage and narrow tolerance range. Suggested for continuous discharging of statically-generated electricity. Applications of LUVOCOM® 70-9045 include gear wheels, bearings, fuel system components, stock shapes, seals, strong and stiff parts.
