HYBRAR™ 5125 by Kuraray is a curable, non-hydrogenated, vinyl-bond rich styrene isoprene styrene (SIS) copolymer. It is a truly unique triblock co-polymer having polystyrene end blocks and a vinyl rich poly-diene midblock.
  • It exhibits high elasticity, vibration-damping at room temperature, shock absorption, affinity with polyolefins- and styrenics.
  • It is designed for processing by injection molding.
  • It is soluble in petroleum benzene, toluene, hexane, chloroform, cyclohexane, tetrahydrofuran and partially soluble in ethyl acetate & methyl ethyl ketone.
  • It is insoluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone, water and dimethylformamide.
  • HYBRAR™ 5125 is used in sporting goods, tubes, cables, building materials, medical packaging, household appliances, electronic-, construction-, acoustic- and automotive parts.
