QPI-P250A by Jiangsu Qingquan Chemical is a high-performance thermoplastic polyimide (PI) with the highest level of heat resistance among thermoplastic resins. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion. It shows long-term temperature resistance up to 240°C and can be produced according to different needs of different specification sheets of rods, plates, and parts.
- It provides excellent mechanical strength, toughness, high temperature rigidity and sliding properties with the highest critical PV value, without lubricating oil.
- It exhibits excellent dimensional stability with shrinkage rate as half of PEEK, and strong chemical resistance to gasoline, lubricating oil, aircraft fuel, and cleaning agents.
- It provides low out-gassing and superior radiation resistance compared to PEEK, thermosetting PI and other materials.
- It is an excellent alternative to metals, ceramics, and other high-temperature-resistant plastics, and can be recycled.
- It is recommended for thrust gaskets and sealing rings for transmission devices of automobiles and special equipment, high temperature resistant self-lubricating bearings, compressor piston rings, tobacco machinery parts, printer automation parts, grippers, gaskets, bushings, electrical and electronic parts.
- QPI-P250A is used in automobile transportation equipment parts, special wire coverings, semiconductor manufacturing equipment parts, hot insulators, and wire strippers for high-speed copiers.
- It is also used in excavator guide rings, automotive transmissions, turbocharged seals, bushings in oil and oil-free environments, oil cylinder guide rings, shaft sleeves, turbo sealing rings, transmission seals, and structural components.
