AVALON® 80 AE by Huntsman TPU is a halogen-, phthalate free and recyclable polyester based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. Provides perfect color match, excellent multilayer bonding, easy processing, colorability, recyclability, high elasticity, resilience to oils, greases and numerous solvents. Possesses matt/ shiny appearance and perfect surface definition, high transparency, fast cycle times and good flexibility over a wide temperature range. Exhibits high abrasion-, scratch- and flex resistance, even at low temperatures. Suitable for processing by injection molding. AVALON® 80 AE is used in footwear applications like outsoles, slippers, unit-soles, top-pieces and kippers, sport and outdoor applications like sports plates, studs and cleats, eyelets, shanks, decorative parts, air bags, stabilizer and components. It is a RoHS and REACH compliant grade.
