GEHR PET® by GEHR is a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) grade. Exhibits high mechanical resistance, high tensile & surface strength, high dimensional stability and high toughness. Shows good electrical insulating properties, high chemical resistance and limited dielectric properties. Provides bondability, hardness, low friction and temperature resistance (-20°C to 100°C). Is sensitive to hydrolysis and easy to varnish & polish. GEHR PET® is used in bearings, pumps and parts for housings, frame components, tank lids and cog wheels. Recommended for insulators for electrical engineering, deflection rollers for filament industry, levers, handles and control discs. Complies with EEC, FDA and UL 94 HB flame rating.
