GEHR, established in 1932, is a prominent entity in the plastics industry, hailing from Mannheim, Germany. Environmental protection and sustainability are of particular importance to GEHR. GEHR PMMA®

GEHR PMMA® by GEHR is a polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) grade. Provides very high mechanical strength, hardness, high mechanical rigidity, excellent transparency and good thermal stability. Exhibits good insulation properties, low water absorption, tensile strength, excellent weather resistance and low chemical resistance. Is brittle, easy to polish and shows possible stress problems. Offers good temperature resistance, UV-stability, scratch resistance and bondability. GEHR PMMA® is used in displays, advertisements, tubes for lamps, hand rails and food industry. Complies with EEC, FDA and UL 94 HB flame rating.

ECOGEHR® PA 6.10

ECOGEHR® PA 6.10 by GEHRis a polyamide 6-10 (PA 6-10) grade obtained from the oil of the castor seed. It exhibits low water absorption, high dimensional stability and good chemical resistance. It is suitable for processing by compounding and extrusion method. ECOGEHR® PA 6.10 is used in gear wheels and runners.

GEHR PVC-U®

GEHR PVC-U® by GEHR is a flame retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) grade. Exhibits low stress cracking, high mechanical strength, tensile strength, hardness and low water absorption. Offers good insulation properties for electronics, bondability, limited UV stabilization and increased impact strength. Provides exceptional chemical- and limited weather resistance. Is self-extinguishing, easy to varnish & glue and can easily solvent, cemented and welded. GEHR PVC-U® is used in pumps and valve body, gaskets, bearing cages, pipe lines, hand lamp pipes and brush basic body. Recommended for parts in dental medicine, seat strips, profiles for cabin & fair construction, pipes for kerf mounting and lamp boxes. Complies with EEC 90/128, FDA, NSF/ANSI STANDARD 51 and UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
