VESTODUR® X9426

VESTODUR® X9426 is a medium viscosity, halogen-free, flame retardant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) grade. Possesses good electrical and hydrolysis properties, good sliding friction behavior, high compressive strength, low coefficient of thermal expansion and low moisture absorption. Provides high thermal stability, high hardness, good strength, high dimensional stability, high flexibility, high limiting oxygen index (LOI), low smoke density and low toxicity smoke emission. Exhibits high stress crack-, chemical-, kink-, crush-, abrasion and creep resistance. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. Recommended for optical fiber jacketing, loose tubes and copper wire insulation for use in public construction projects.
