MULTIFLEX™ A 1004 B Z4775 N0200 by DuPont is a recyclable, general purpose styrene ethylene butylene styrene alloy (SEBS Alloy), exhibiting UV resistance. It contains anti-blocking additive for polyethylene (PE) film extrusion, anti-slip, processing aid, anti-fibrillation additive for polypropylene (PP) yarn extrusion and weaving, stiffening agent for polypropylene (PP) films and plaques. It is a halogen free, oxygen scavenger, breathable, heat weldable (corners), and heat stabilized grade. It possesses lower coefficient of friction, excellent mechanical properties at elevated temperature (>90°C), hydrocarbon-, chemical-, tear-, heat-, scratch-, mar- and fluid resistance, low taste, odor and extractables. It shows compatibility with different engineering plastics such as polycarbonate (PC), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) and styrene acrylonitrile (SAN). long term adhesion stability, spinning, cycle up to 1600 rpm, improves mold filling, reduces cycle time, durability, good desiccant- and peel properties. Provides lower extruder torque, improved thermal insulation, impact protection, noise and vibration dampening, low and high temperature flexibility. It is designed for injection molding and film extrusion methods. Possible applications of MULTIFLEX™ A 1004 B Z4775 N0200 are health, personal care, houseware, portable electronics, hand & power tools, sports and leisure. Can also be used for electrical protection, wire and cable, packaging, window seals & gaskets, fluid and product delivery. It complies with UL-94 V0 Flame Rating, KTW/A, W270 and W543 “LGA”.
