DOW CORNING® C6-265 by DuPont is a non-tacky, pigmentable, one-part uncatalyzed, class VI silicone elastomer. It is a flexible curative, blendable, cost-effective rubber with high batch-to-batch consistency. It does not contain phthalates or other organic plasticizer additives. It can be processed by extrusion and compounding method. It is recommended for part fabrication and medical devices, including those implanted in humans for up to 29 days. It complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, USP Class VI, USP Class V and ISO 10993-1 for surface devices cytotoxicity, sensitization and irritation reactivity. DOW CORNING® C6-265 is also meets with European Pharmacopoeia Monograph 3.1.9 for closures and tubing: substances soluble in hexane and volatile matter.

DOW CORNING® C6-550

DOW CORNING® C6-550 by DuPont is a platinum-catalyzed (1:1 by weight), heat cured, solvent-free, non-blooming, pigmentable, cost-effective, Class VI elastomer liquid silicone rubber. It can be post cured. It is available as a two-part kit part A & part B, mixed in equal portion by weight. Consists of cross-linked dimethyl & methyl-vinyl siloxane copolymers and reinforcing silica. It can be post-cured. It does not contain peroxides & by-products, chlorophenyls or PCBs, organic plasticizers, phthalates or latex additives. Exhibits easy processing, batch-to-batch consistency. DOW CORNING® C6-550 is recommended for medical devices and component fabrication including those implanted in humans for up to 29 days. Complies with US FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia) Class V, USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia) Class VI and ISO 10993-1 for surface devices. Also meets with EP (European Pharmacopoeia) Monograph 3.1.9 closures and tubing tested for volatile matter and substances soluble in hexane & USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia) for cytotoxicity and skin sensitization.

DOW CORNING® QP1-30 by DuPont is a translucent, one-part uncatalyzed, solvent-free, pigmentable class VI elastomer silicone rubber. It does not contains phthalates or latex additives. It exhibits high consistency and can be post cured. It can be processed by extrusion, calendering and compounding. It is recommended for medical devices and component fabrication including those implanted in humans for less than 30 days and non-implant applications. DOW CORNING® QP1-30 complies with USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia) Class VI regulation and tissue culture testing.
