Polybutylene succinate by Corvay Specialty Chemicals is a biodegradable thermoplastic polybutylene succinate (PBS) polymer that belongs to the polyester family. It is obtained by the polymerization of butylene glycol and succinic acid. It is biocompatible and renewable in nature, making it an attractive alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics.
