Celapex™ PKX-201 by Celanese is a high flow polyetheretherketone [PEEK] grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits low warpage, high heat resistance, easy processability and molding at lower injection pressure & lower melt temperature. Offers filling of intricate complex geometry molds resulting in thin-wall, long-flow parts with high precision and tight tolerances. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for automotive application (such as under-the-hood electrical connectors), electrical & electronic application (thin wall intricate components e.g capacitors, connectors, resistors, micro switches) and complex geometries & precision miniature parts for diagnostic & analytical instrumentation. Celapex™ PKX-201 can also be used in molded stock shapes for machined parts such as rings, seals, bushings with high temperature corrosion resistance that can operate under severe service conditions such as deep sea oil and gas recovery.
