PTS BLACK

PTS BLACK by Amco Polymers is an alloy of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and nylon reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits good heat resistance, poor chemical resistance, poor color stability and low water absorption. Is opaque and offers good dimensional stability and strength but tough processability. Shows acceptance of flame retardants and can also be electroplated. Suitable for internal appliance components, machine & appliance housings, brackets and structural components of office products and electronic large computer and printer housings (painted, foamed). PTS BLACK by Amco Polymers is also used in automotive wheel covers and grills (plated) and high tolerance electrical switch boxes & connectors. Is approved by QAS International management systems, standards and guidelines - ISO 9001:2008.
