AFLAS® 100H is a high molecular weight, peroxide-curable fluoropolymer grade. Exhibits high heat resistance, outstanding steam resistance, excellent base-, acid-, many solvents-, ozone and amine resistance. Possesses chemical durability, outstanding elongation, even in formulations with high hardness. Is suitable for long service use (>25 years) in harsh environments and can be compounded to be highly resistant to rapid gas decompression (eg NORSOK). It must be optimally formulated, press cured (170°C, 20 minutes), post cured (200°C, =4 hours) to take full advantage of its physical properties. AFLAS® 100H by AGC is used in O-rings, gaskets, oilfield parts and heavy duty seals. Recommended for oil & gas (for high pressure and high temperature (HPHT)), chemical process, industrial equipment, food handling, pharmaceutical, heavy duty diesel and automotive industries applications.
