TOPAS® 8007F-600
by Topas Advanced Polymers (Polyplastics)
TOPAS® 8007F-600 by Topas Advanced Polymers (Polyplastics) improves the performance of polyethylene packaging. This transparent, amorphous, food-grade ethylene-cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) resin offers performance and qualities that PE by itself cannot. Barrier (moisture, nitrogen), stiffness, shrinkage, deadfold, simple and linear rip, thermoformability, curl control, glossy EBM container skins, and other features have commercial applications. It permits the creation of higher-value films on conventional PE film lines. Generally speaking, films containing 8007F-600 can be recovered and recycled with PE. Broad processing window suited for extruding cast and blown films; coextruded without tie layers with PE. For direct food contact, TOPAS® 8007F-600 by Topas Advanced Polymers (Polyplastics) complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 and is offered globally.
