Capryloyl Glycine. Caprocine by Minasolve acts as an antimicrobial-, deo-active, anti-acne-, purifying, anti-dandruff, protective, anti-inflammatory and anti-seborrhoea agent. It is a mild, anionic multi-functional ingredient for the cleansing of skin and scalp. It reduces sebum production by inhibiting the 5a-reductase, a key enzyme in the regulation of sebum production. This ingredient inhibits the growth of propionibacterium acnes. It reduces dandruff formation due to its anti-microbial activity against the yeast malassezia furfur (pityrosporum ovale), and it simultaneously reduces fatty scalp. It inhibits the growth of bacteria which are involved in the formation of body odor. The targeted germs are staphylococcus epidermidis, bacillus subtilis, micrococcus luteus, as well as different corynebacteria. It can help to protect cosmetic formulations. Caprocine is used in anti-acne face cleansers, anti-dandruff shampoo, deodorant and moisturizing face lotion. It is recommended for toiletries, skin-, hair- and men-care applications. It is verified by ECOCERT.
