Hydrogenated Polydecene. Puresyn™ 6 by ExxonMobil acts as solvent, carrier, emollient, lubricant, water resistant agent, film former, solubilizer and glossing agent. It is a silicone- & oil-free, non-comedogenic, non-irritating grade which offers an occlusive barrier for moisturization. It imparts light, non-greasy and non-oily skin feel. It offers broad spreadability range and is stable in low & high pH systems. It allows easy formulation of acidic alpha- and beta-hydroxy acid creams as well as hair relaxers. Puresyn™ 6 is designed for formulating personal care products including antiperspirant/deodorants, lotions, sunscreens, moisturizers, gels and water-in-oil emulsions.
