Hydrogenated Polyisobutene. FANCOL® POLYISO® 275-CG by Elementis acts as a waterproofing agent. It is a non-animal origin long chain aliphatic hydrocarbon. It shows stability over a very wide pH range and can be used as an alternative for mineral oil. It enhances shine and offers lubricity. It can be combined with the other FANCOL® POLYISO® CG products to provide an average molecular weight between 200 and 1400. FANCOL® POLYISO® 275-CG is used in decorative cosmetics, lipsticks, hair relaxers, hair styling aids, creams, lotions, sunscreen, shave preparations, antiperspirants, setting gels and sprays. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
