PEG-12 Dimethicone. PURESIL™ PEG 12 DM E6 by Elkem Silicones is a water-soluble, silicone polyether-based foam booster, stabilizer, light conditioner, plasticizing- and wetting agent. It functions as a mild surfactant that lowers surface tension, softens the harshness of cleansers, enhances foam stability and provides softness & smoothness to skin and hair. It is also used as a co-emulsifier for sensitive products.

• It provides emolliency benefits and light conditioning for water-based hair products.
• It enhances silky skin feel and imparts lubricity to hair and skin.
• It is used in bath & shower formulations, shampoos & rinse-off conditioners, shaving foams and gels.
