Supplied byConnect Chemicals- Last Updated on Apr 4, 2024

Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside. Glucoside 215CS by Connect Chemicals is a mild, readily biodegradable, PEG- & preservative-free, non-ionic surfactant. It is widely used as a primary or basic surfactant and a co-surfactant in the formulation of natural cosmetic products. It also acts as a primary hydrophilic emulsifier in cold type O/A creams and milks, often coupled with a 4:1 ratio lipophilic emulsifier or in hot emulsions with waxy consistency factors. It exhibits excellent detergency and processing benefits in a variety of cleaning products.
  • It offers good hydrotropic & solubilizing properties, superior wetting, dispersing and interfacial tension reduction properties for emulsification.
  • It shows stability over wide pH range, and compatibility with strong acids, anionic-, cationic- & other non-ionic surfactants.
  • As a boundary surfactant, it can be used in a 2:5 ratio with the primary anionic surfactant to improve the texture and foaming of the finished product.
  • Glucoside 215CS is used in fragrances, toiletries, makeup, skin-, hair-, sun and baby care products.
  • It is Ecocert & COSMOS approved, NATRUE allowed and RSPO certified.
  • It has a shelf life of 12 months.
