Elixi-CARE OD

Caprylyl Glycol. Elixi-CARE OD by Connect Chemicals is a humectant, solvent and viscosity decreasing agent. It is a multifunctional cosmetic ingredient with moisturizing capacities and antimicrobial properties. Offers improved spreadability and moisture retention. It is a strong booster for many different preservative actives like Elixi-KON PHE (phenoxyethanol) and Elixi-KON BZA (benzyl alcohol), causing a broadspectrum efficacy against bacteria, yeast and molds. Recommended for toners, gels, creams, lotions, rinseoff products (shampoos, bodywashes), skin care, hair care, wet wipes, sun care, baby care, makeup and toiletries. It has a shelf life of 24 months under proper storage conditions.
