Supplied byAshland- Last Updated on Jun 25, 2020

Glyceryl Stearate (and) Cetyl Alcohol (and) Stearyl Alcohol (and) Behenyl Alcohol (and) Palmitic Acid (and) Stearic Acid (and) Hydroxyethyl Cetearamidopropyldimonium Chloride. Prolipid™ 151 lamellar gel by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a moisturizing and delivery agent. It mimicks the unique lamellar organization of stratum corneum lipids. In addition, it enhances the performance of cosmetic formulations and can be used to develop stable lamellar gel networks with a wide range of rheologies and sensory attributes depending on the type of auxiliary ingredients present. It moisturizes and promotes healthy skin by strengthening skin’s natural barrier function. It masks undesirable sensory properties, such as oiliness and provides slightly drier rubout with shorter playtime. Compatible over wide pH range and resistant to rinse-off. Prolipid™ 151 lamellar gel can be used in body care, color cosmetics, face and body washes, and facial care applications.
