EPON™ Resin 1007F by Westlake Epoxy is a moderately high molecular weight solid epoxy resin derived from a liquid epoxy resin and bisphenol-A. It provides outstanding flexibility, adhesion, very good resistance to chemicals and solvents. It offers unique melt viscosity characteristics to powder coatings. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used as a vehicle in high performance industrial baking finishes in combination with urea formaldehyde or phenol-formaldehyde resins. </li>
<li>It is also used in amine or polyamide cured two package coatings, reacted with vegetable oil acids, isocyanate curing agents to produce epoxy resin esters and urethane coatings. </li>
<li>EPON™ Resin 1007F is suitable for use in the linings for metal containers, appliance primers, metal furniture finishes, clear coatings for brass hardware and cosmetic cases. </li>

It finds application in solution type coatings. It can be formulated into high performance amine or polyamide cured coatings. It displays a desirable reactivity, rheology and electrical properties in powder coatings. It will not block or sinter even at slightly elevated storage temperatures. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1002F is 5 years. EPON™ Resin 1004F by Westlake Epoxy is a solid epoxy resin derived from bisphenol-A and epichlorohydrin. This medium molecular weight resin has an average of 4.5-5.0 hydroxyl groups per molecule plus the terminal epoxy groups. It may be used as a partial replacement for other EPON™ Resins in amine or polyamide cured epoxy air dry finishes and in phenolic and amino modified epoxy baking systems. It is used in maintenance coatings. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1004F is 5 years. EPON™ Resin 1001-X-75 by Westlake Epoxy is a 75% solids solution of an EPON™ Resin 1001F type epoxy resin in xylene. It offers excellent chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, and low color. It is used in formulating various room temperature curing industrial maintenance coatings including clears, primers, masonry surfacers, and gloss and semi-gloss enamels. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1001-X-75 is 5 years. EPON™ Resin 2014 by Westlake Epoxy is a solid bisphenol A/epichlorohydrin epoxy resin. It provides consistent cure response. It has extremely low levels of hydrolyzable chlorine and uniform properties from lot to lot. It is used in decorative powder coatings, high performance finishes for automotive parts, electrical insulation coatings, appliance primers, corrosion resistant pipe and concrete reinforcing bar coatings. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 2014 is 3 years. EPON™ Resin 2005 by Westlake Epoxy is bisphenol A-based epoxy. It is a very stable under normal, low in moisture and total volatiles content, extremely narrow property range. It provides consistent cure response and extremely low color with a wide variety of curing agents. EPON™ Resin 2005 is used in decorative powder coatings, pipe coatings, electrical insulation and rebar coatings. EPON™ Resin 233 by Westlake Epoxy is a solvent-free, low-viscosity epoxy resin for high solids and solvent-free coatings. It is designed for moisture vapor suppression formulations. It is also suitable for thick film floor coatings and can also act as a primer for concrete.<br>

It affords rapid cure speeds when combined with accelerated dicyandiamide curing agents. <br>

<li>The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 2002 is 3 years.</li></ul> EPON™ Resin 869A by Westlake Epoxy is an epoxy resin. It is derived from the reaction of Bisphenol F and epichlorohydrin. It does not contain any diluents or modifiers. It reduces resin viscosity without added diluent as compared to standard BPA-based epoxy resin.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides good pigment wetting- and chemical resistance.</li>
<li>It provides good hardness development and mechanical properties, especially compared to diluent-modified resin blends.</li>
<li>It improves resistance against crystallization, particularly when combined with EPON Resin 828.</li>
<li>EPON™ Resin 869A is used in solvent-free and high solids coatings formulations.>/li></ul> EPON™ Resin 874-CX-90 by Westlake Epoxy is bisphenol-A based epoxy resin. It offers improved flexibility, faster dry times and longer pot life than standard liquid epoxy resins. It has equivalent impact resistance, corrosion- and immersion-resistance compared to standard epoxy polyamide coatings. It is used in corrosion-resistant primers, topcoats for marine applications, industrial maintenance coatings for primers and topcoats, high solids masonry as well as concrete coatings. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 874-CX-90 is 3 years.
