EPON™ Resin 233 by Westlake Epoxy is a solvent-free, low-viscosity epoxy resin for high solids and solvent-free coatings. It is designed for moisture vapor suppression formulations. It is also suitable for thick film floor coatings and can also act as a primer for concrete.<br>

This medium molecular weight resin has an average of 4.5-5.0 hydroxyl groups per molecule plus the terminal epoxy groups. It may be used as a partial replacement for other EPON™ Resins in amine or polyamide cured epoxy air dry finishes and in phenolic and amino modified epoxy baking systems. It is used in maintenance coatings. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1004F is 5 years. EPON™ Resin 8132 by Westlake Epoxy is a 100% reactive, low viscosity, liquid bisphenol-A based epoxy resin diluted with an alkyl glycidyl ether. It has minimum odor and good color. It can be cured or crosslinked with a variety of curing agents. EPON™ Resin 8132 is used in high solids/low VOC high performance architectural coatings. The shelf life of this product is 3 years. EPON™ Resin 1009F by Westlake Epoxy is a very high molecular weight, solid epoxy resin. It is derived from a liquid epoxy resin and bisphenol-A. It is used extensively as a vehicle or binder in high performance industrial baking type surface coatings. It is usually combined with urea-formaldehyde or phenol-formaldehyde resins to achieve the desired film properties.<br>

It provides outstanding flexibility, adhesion, very good resistance to chemicals and solvents. It offers unique melt viscosity characteristics to powder coatings. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used as a vehicle in high performance industrial baking finishes in combination with urea formaldehyde or phenol-formaldehyde resins. </li>
<li>It is also used in amine or polyamide cured two package coatings, reacted with vegetable oil acids, isocyanate curing agents to produce epoxy resin esters and urethane coatings. </li>
<li>EPON™ Resin 1007F is suitable for use in the linings for metal containers, appliance primers, metal furniture finishes, clear coatings for brass hardware and cosmetic cases. </li>
<li>The shelf life of this product is 5 years.</li></ul> EPON™ Resin 2004 by Westlake Epoxy is a solid bisphenol A/epichlorohydrin epoxy resin. It possesses uniform properties from lot to lot, filtered to remove particulate contaminants, low in color and low in moisture. It exhibits total volatiles content, packed in foil-lined bags to maintain purity, stable on storage, flows evenly, cures rapidly at elevated temperatures, gives consistent cure response with a wide variety of curing agents. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>EPON™ Resin 2004 is used in decorative powder coatings, pipe coatings, appliance finishes, electrical insulation on motors, stators and in decorative films. </li>

It has outstanding resistance to pigment and filler settling, which gives greater stability to filled systems. It also has superior resistance to foaming under vacuum as well as has an adjusted, controlled reactivity with amine curing agents, which serves to extend pot Iife and working life characteristics.<br>

It improves the properties of cured epoxy resin systems particularly at elevated temperatures. It increases the crosslink density of cured systems. It has greater strength and rigidity, improved moisture resistance as well as retention of electrical properties. <br>

<li>It offers uniform particle sizes, low melt viscosity, low ionic contaminants and good storage stability. </li>

It offers excellent chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, and low color. It is used in formulating various
room temperature curing industrial maintenance coatings including clears, primers, masonry surfacers, gloss- and semi-gloss enamels. The base resin is also available in other solvent line ups. EPON™ Resin 1001-B-80 has a shelf life of 5 years. EPON™ Resin 8111 by Westlake Epoxy is a low viscosity epoxy resin. It displays exceptionally rapid reaction rates with aliphatic amine curing agents over a broad temperature range. It possesses good wetting characteristics, strong bonding to various substrates and reduced tendency to form amine carbonate in thin film applications. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It has hard, tough cures exhibiting mechanical, electrical, and water resistance properties similar to those normally expected from conventional liquid epoxy resins. </li>
<li>EPON™ Resin 8111 is used in various high build coating applications such as two component spray applied traffic striping and wear resistant surfacing. </li>
