EPON™ Resin 869A

Supplied byWestlake Epoxy- Last Updated on May 5, 2026

EPON™ Resin 869A by Westlake Epoxy is an epoxy resin. It is derived from the reaction of Bisphenol F and epichlorohydrin. It does not contain any diluents or modifiers. It reduces resin viscosity without added diluent as compared to standard BPA-based epoxy resin.
  • It provides good pigment wetting- and chemical resistance.
  • It provides good hardness development and mechanical properties, especially compared to diluent-modified resin blends.
  • It improves resistance against crystallization, particularly when combined with EPON Resin 828.
  • EPON™ Resin 869A is used in solvent-free and high solids coatings formulations.>/li>
