EPON™ Resin 1007F by Westlake Epoxy is a moderately high molecular weight solid epoxy resin derived from a liquid epoxy resin and bisphenol-A. It provides outstanding flexibility, adhesion, very good resistance to chemicals and solvents. It offers unique melt viscosity characteristics to powder coatings. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used as a vehicle in high performance industrial baking finishes in combination with urea formaldehyde or phenol-formaldehyde resins. </li> <li>It is also used in amine or polyamide cured two package coatings, reacted with vegetable oil acids, isocyanate curing agents to produce epoxy resin esters and urethane coatings. </li> <li>EPON™ Resin 1007F is suitable for use in the linings for metal containers, appliance primers, metal furniture finishes, clear coatings for brass hardware and cosmetic cases. </li> <li>The shelf life of this product is 5 years.</li></ul>

EPON™ Resin 1002F

EPON™ Resin 1002F by Westlake Epoxy is a solid epoxy resin derived from a liquid epoxy resin and bisphenol-A. It finds application in solution type coatings. It can be formulated into high performance amine or polyamide cured coatings. It displays a desirable reactivity, rheology and electrical properties in powder coatings. It will not block or sinter even at slightly elevated storage temperatures. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1002F is 5 years.

EPON™ Resin 1004F

EPON™ Resin 1004F by Westlake Epoxy is a solid epoxy resin derived from bisphenol-A and epichlorohydrin. This medium molecular weight resin has an average of 4.5-5.0 hydroxyl groups per molecule plus the terminal epoxy groups. It may be used as a partial replacement for other EPON™ Resins in amine or polyamide cured epoxy air dry finishes and in phenolic and amino modified epoxy baking systems. It is used in maintenance coatings. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1004F is 5 years.
