Tolonate™ X FD 90 B by Vencorex is an aliphatic polyisocyanate based on high functionality hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer (HDI homo-polymer). Acts as a crosslinking agent. Enables fast drying, non-yellowing, outstanding durability and mechanical properties. Exhibits excellent solvent-, abrasion- and chemical resistance. Soluble in esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons. Used as a hardener of two-pack polyurethane coatings for car repair, marine and protective, ACE and machinery, aerospace, general industry, automotive OEM and plastic parts. Tolonate™ X FD 90 B also finds use in as a cross-linker of hydroxylated polymers, especially polyesters and polyacrylic polyols, to prepare fast drying two-component polyurethanes coatings. Provides very fast physical drying, quick hardness development and dust contamination issues. Used as a cross-linker of hydroxylated polymers, especially polyesters and polyacrylic polyols, to prepare two-component polyurethanes coatings and varnishes.
